Saturday & Sunday — draw format
- Premier & Challenger (men & women): pool play, then single-elimination finals. Top 2 from each pool go through to finals on Sunday.
- Games are best of 3 sets, full scoring to 21, 21, 15 (win by 2).
- Rolling draw — strictly 5 minutes between games. Know when your next game is and be warmed up.
- First games start at 8am sharp Saturday. Duty teams be on time or risk sanctions for your next match.
- Check the draw thoroughly — your games and duties may be on different courts through the day. Search your name at the top of any draw page to highlight your games and duties.
- If required, drawing of lots is done automatically online. Check the draw for your team code and finals placing.
Duty teams
- If you’re a first-round duty team, collect the scoreboard and scoresheet folder before heading to your court.
- There is 1 match ball per court.
- Duty teams provide the 1st ref and 2nd ref/scorer.
We play a social sport, so please get to know the teams you’re dutying and ask for their names. As a minimum, the scoresheet needs:
- Division (including gender)
- Court number
- Team code
- Set score for each set
- Overall winner of the game
